👋 About Me
Hey, I'm Harry. I've been working as a full stack Software Engineer for 4 years. I've enjoyed working with Typescript, Next.js, and Golang; I've also put up with Kubernetes in my time.
I currently work at Kitt (opens in a new tab) as a Senior Software Engineer in a small team where I'm responsible for building features across the whole stack, working with the product team to help technically plan new things, and being a technical owner of products to oversee their delivery and be a point of contact to the rest of the company when something goes wrong.
Some of my proudest achievements while at Kitt:
- Reimplementing the tenant app from the ground up, improving usage, customer satisfaction, and reliability.
- Mentored and helped onboarding juniors. Helping them get upto speed with our platform.
- Worked on our graphql server code generation which reads protobuf files to generate a graphql server.
- Performed large scale refactors of backend services for improved maintainability, and small scale refactors of SQL, RPC, and Graphql queries to improve performance for our users.
- Worked with other teams to help them report on their KPIs by creating dashboards of SQL queries
